So, what’s next? You are so excited to start planning – right? Well, we are just as excited to help you! We understand that you will probably have a lot of questions. We assure you that you are in good hands.
Besides having a great staff to guide you every step of the way, this page is also packed with information on everything you’ll need to know. From wedding etiquette and advice to cake trends and menu suggestions – we have it all! The best part? With over twenty-seven years in the business, our experience is “tried and true” and has a proven track record of success.
Did you receive an email about finalizing your details??? Great! Below will take you through an 8 step process:
It is now approximately 3-4 months prior to your wedding and Erin Hicklin has contacted you via email to schedule a: Final Detail Appointment. At this appointment, you will have an opportunity to discuss anything and everything regarding your wedding. If your question cannot wait, you are always welcome to email her by using the link above.
Through the year’s, we have found that many families like to plan weddings together and share ideas. We have made this process even easier!
Below you will find a Final Detail Survey. This survey allows you to make all your menu selections in the comforts of your own home. You can make menu choices, add notes for our chef, submit menu modifications, request special dietary meals, add package upgrades and so much more! PLEASE NOTE: You cannot start and stop the online survey. If you have to stop in the middle, you won’t be able to save your changes. We suggest printing out the survey and finalizing it before submitting your details.

We usually suggest waiting until closer to your appointment to make these selections. Our chef will often add menu enhancements that you are able to also select from at no additional charge.
Wedding Cake Selection:
Currently we use Palmero’s Bakery in Ridgefield Park, NJ to design all of our wedding cakes. Selecting your wedding cake can be done in 1 of the following ways:
- Contact Palmero’s Bakery directly to do a cake tasting. At this appointment, you can pick flavors and view designs that are included in your package. Make an Appointment with Palermo’s – Remember to Select: Ridgefield Park.
- Select a cake by viewing our: Wedding Cake Gallery. Once you select a cake design (from our gallery) and cake type on the final detail survey, you can finalize any design changes at your final detail appointment with Erin.
- Send Erin a picture of a cake design that you would like to use and she can contact Palmero’s directly to make sure it is possible at no additional charge. Once you have confirmation, you can pick the cake type and flavor on your Wedding Details survey.
When making your linen selection, we usually suggest sticking with a neutral pallet like white or ivory for both the table cloth and napkin. If you’d like a pop of color, we normally suggest bringing that color in with your center piece. If you and your florist decide to add colored napkins, you may certainly do so. The color selections can be found HERE. Please note these colors are napkin colors and strongly suggest keeping the table cloth neutral and using our majestic pattern. Again, Erin can show you samples when you meet.
Countdown to your wedding:
Staying Organized not only helps YOU – but it makes this planning process easier for us. The 10 Day Countdown Packet contains Important information leading up to your event as well as the Bridal Announcement Sheet, Ceremony Sheet and Favor Instruction Sheet. PLEASE PRINT and bring with you to your appointment. All pages can be printed together or separately.
It is very important that we the contact information for any vendor that you are using for your wedding. There is a section on the Wedding Detail Survey that allows you to add this information. However if you prefer to hand-write it, you can print out the vendor instruction sheet and scan it back. This Vendor Instruction sheet should also be sent to ANY vendor that has not been to the our venue.
Floor Plans – Erin will go over exactly how to organize your floor plan. Final counts are not due until 7-10 days prior to your event. You will have plenty of time to discuss any questions that you may have. In the meantime, please call us if you have any questions or concerns.

12 Week Payment:
Approximately 12-14 weeks PRIOR to your event, a second payment is due. This payment can be made using the link below. Please have your contract handy so that you can enter your contract number. The amount of this payment is in the email you received from Erin Hicklin. The payment is roughly 1/2 of the remaining balance due for your event. Your initial deposit, along with this payment, will be deducted off of your final invoice.
